Café Central is located in the busy Derbyshire market town of Matlock, with dramatic views down into the town and out to the hills beyond.

We aim to provide our customers with fresh food and good quality drink in a relaxing environment. All our coffees and teas are Fairtrade and our meals are individually prepared from fresh local ingredients. For those in a hurry, we provide a takeaway drinks service.

Our new pizzeria, open both Fridays and Saturdays,
6:00pm-10:30pm, is ideal for celebrating that special occasion; enjoy a relaxing candlelit meal for two, or perhaps book the entire restaurant and celebrate in style!

As an Arts Café, we present the work of local artists, with artwork changing on a regular basis.
